Stubs and Sleeves helps you log albums, track shows, organize playlists and notes, and publish music reviews only when you choose. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the limited ways it may be shared.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account information such as your email address and encrypted authentication data.
- Profile information you choose to add, such as display name, avatar, bio, slug, and Last.fm username.
- Music activity and library data, including albums, ratings, notes, backlog items, favorite tracks, and concerts you log.
- Integration data from services you choose to connect, such as Spotify tokens needed to keep your connection active.
- Public content you choose to publish, including reviews, lists, and public profile information.
- Basic technical information such as browser, device, IP-derived security signals, and server logs used for reliability and abuse prevention.
Google sign-in
If you choose to sign in with Google, we use Google only to authenticate your account. We may receive basic account details such as your email address, name, and profile image from Google through Supabase. We do not use Google sign-in to access Gmail, Google Drive, or other Google data.
How we use information
- To create and secure your account.
- To provide the core app experience, including your albums, reviews, queue, and concert timeline.
- To support integrations you turn on, such as Spotify or Last.fm-related features.
- To operate, maintain, and improve the service.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized access.
- To display content publicly only when you explicitly choose to publish it.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in limited ways:
- With service providers that help run the app, such as hosting, database, authentication, and storage providers.
- With connected services when you explicitly choose to use an integration.
- With the public when you enable a public profile or publish reviews or lists.
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users or the service.
Data retention
We keep account and app data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Public content may remain visible until it is deleted or made private by you or removed by us.
Your choices
- You can choose whether your profile, reviews, and lists are public or private.
- You can disconnect integrations such as Spotify from within the app.
- You can request account-related help or deletion by contacting the support address you publish for the service.
Children's privacy
Stubs and Sleeves is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version here and update the effective date above.
